The second step in the ‘Fashion in Zero Gravity’ project was to create an ‘earth bound’, plastic, response to the thinking and the ephemerality of the film in a similar way that space technologies such as Teflon have been widely utilised within ‘earth bound’ consumer commodity production. This resulted in the collection of clothes, both conceptual and commercial, ‘Fashion in Zero Gravity/ Space Denim’.
